Patrick O’Brien

Sand and Surf Psychology was formed by registered psychologist, Patrick O’Brien, to support and journey with people through challenges and difficulties they are experiencing, and the increasing need people have for deeper meaning and purpose in their lives.

At Sand and Surf Psychology people seeking psychological support are accepted, listened to and guided. It is a place for connection, understanding and growth. Patrick has been lucky to experience many different people and cultures, to work in different roles and industries, and to have wonderful support through his own challenges and difficulties. A key learning for him has been that no one is perfect, and nor should they try to be. However, people can access their own unique potential – especially if they receive good psychological support when experiencing challenges and difficulties.

Patrick provides psychology services to adults experiencing difficulties related to trauma (Post-traumatic Stress and Developmental trauma), anger management, anxiety, depression, leadership and career.
