Lotus embodied therapy

Stacey is the founder of Lotus Embodied Therapy. She has over 10 years’ experience working as Mental Health Social Worker across various settings including private practice and non-government organizations providing direct client care through individual therapy, advocacy, supervision, and group programs. Stacey believes that our bodies hold the wisdom of healing the inner wounds that have left you feeling stuck in survival mode and using the power of our nervous systems to create safety and an embodied sense of self. Stacey understands that creating a relationship that feels safe with a therapist can be a daunting process and leave you feeling stressed before you have even begun, which is why I take the time to understand you and build a positive and safe environment that makes space for vulnerability to feel comfortable. The uniqueness of having both a mental health and social work lens allows me to create a safe space for you to explore both your inner and outer worlds. I will decide with you on the approach you feel most comfortable with and what works best for you.

Stacey is a registered and accredited member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). Stacey is a facilitator of the Shark Cage Program and Bringing Up Great Kids. She holds professional membership with the Australian and New Zealand Mental Health Association, and is a registered practitioner with Victim Services NSW, QPS Self Refer and Benestar EAP program.
