Rebecca is the founder of Magnolia Counselling. She is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with 11 years experience across an array of settings. Rebecca has worked in health advocacy for chronic conditions prior to supporting children, youth and families as a crisis response worker in the United States. More recently, she has supported adults experiencing complex mental health presentations as well as women adjusting to parenthood.
In counselling, Rebecca provides a warm and welcoming environment for individuals to reflect on their experience in a non-judgmental space. She is flexible in her approach and utilises an array of evidence-based social work interventions in her practice. Rebecca is passionate about supporting women in the perinatal period.
Rebecca holds a professional Membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers.
In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys exploring the beautiful Sunshine Coast and spending time with her family and their cat, Mildred.
